Carolyn Novicoff

Owner and Founder

Doctorate in Education

Carolyn Novicoff has devoted her professional life to working with individuals and families with multiple diagnoses. After finishing her course work for a doctorate in education, she accepted the challenge of working as Associate Executive Director for Father Flanagan’s Boys’ Home. Her responsibilities included implementing and overseeing sixteen different sites across twelve states outside the Omaha, Nebraska headquarters. She is delighted to be part of the Viewpoint program having seen the tremendous need for such dual diagnosis programs across the country.

Dr. Terry Vaughan, MD

Medical Director

Board Certified in Psychiatry

A NAMI “Exemplary Psychiatrist” award recipient, Dr. Vaughan has practiced in Prescott for over twenty years. She specializes in mood disorders, substance dependence, developmental disabilities, and psychotic disorders.

Junior Pemberton, LCSW

Clinical Director

Junior Pemberton, LCSW, is a Clinical Director with experience leading residential, detox, and intensive outpatient programs, including care for people with psychosis, complex mental health needs, trauma, and co-occurring substance use disorders. He brings a steady, practical approach to high-acuity care, helping teams balance safety, clinical rigor, and genuine connection. A national trainer in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Junior is passionate about developing clinicians and building programs where people receive thoughtful, individualized care during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Vladimer Ford

Chief Operating Officer

10+ Years in Operations Leadership

With over ten years in operations leadership and four years at Viewpoint, Vladimer oversees day-to-day operations and fosters a supportive, collaborative work environment focused on high-quality care.

Dr. Julia Summers, PhD

Primary Therapist

PhD in Family Psychology, Licensed Professional Counselor (Arizona, Oregon)

With over eighteen years of experience, Dr. Summers leads Dialectical Behavioral Therapy groups for managing cravings, anxiety, and mood disorders. She specializes in dual diagnosis, addictions, and emotional regulation.

Director of Referral Relations

25+ Years in Healthcare

With over twenty-five years of healthcare experience as a clinician, leader, and liaison, Eric connects with families, and healthcare organizations to ensure every person has the best chance of connecting with the program that enables their success. With his compassionate, caring, and warm-hearted approach, Eric also ensures our clients are set up with appropriate aftercare resources to sustain their growth and health.

In his ninth year at Viewpoint, Joseph brings over six years of experience coordinating medical and psychiatric care. His deep understanding of dual diagnosis treatment helps clients get their lives back on track.

With his license to practice psychotherapy and almost ten years of clinical experience, Tim helps individuals break free from addiction and regain control of their mental health by addressing the whole person—mind, habits, and spirit. Working with clients to challenge negative thought patterns, build emotional discipline, and create a meaningful path forward. Healing isn’t just about stopping a behavior; it’s about building a life rooted in clarity, purpose, and inner peace.
