Treatment & Programs
Learn about our specialized dual diagnosis approach and clinical programs.
What is dual diagnosis treatment?
Dual diagnosis treatment addresses both mental health conditions and substance use disorders simultaneously. Rather than treating these as separate issues, our integrated approach recognizes that these conditions often interact and reinforce each other, requiring coordinated care.
What conditions do you treat?
We specialize in complex psychiatric presentations including treatment-resistant schizophrenia, rapid-cycling bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, major depression, PTSD, anxiety disorders, and co-occurring substance use disorders.
Do you accept treatment-resistant cases?
Yes. We specifically welcome cases that other facilities consider too complex. Our team has extensive experience with treatment-resistant conditions and utilizes advanced protocols, including specialized medication strategies and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
How long does treatment typically last?
Treatment duration is individualized based on clinical needs. Unlike programs with fixed 30, 60, or 90-day stays, we advocate for the time your recovery actually requires. Most clients benefit from extended treatment given the complexity of their conditions.
What therapy modalities do you offer?
We offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), motivational interviewing, trauma-focused therapy, family counseling, group therapy, and medication management.
Admissions & Payment
Information about starting treatment and payment options.
What insurance do you accept?
We accept most major insurance plans including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Humana, Kaiser, Magellan, UMR, and GEHA. Our admissions team will verify your benefits and explain your coverage before you begin treatment.
What does the admissions process look like?
The process starts with a confidential phone call to our admissions team. We’ll conduct a brief assessment, verify your insurance benefits, and discuss treatment options. Most clients can begin treatment within 24-48 hours of initial contact.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We work with clients and families to find manageable payment arrangements. We also accept self-pay and can discuss financing options during the admissions process.
Can I visit before committing to treatment?
We welcome facility tours and encourage families to see our environment before making a decision. Contact our admissions team to schedule a visit at a time that works for you.
Is there a waitlist?
Availability varies, but we do our best to accommodate new clients quickly. Contact our admissions team for the most current availability and expected start dates.
Facility & Daily Life
Learn about our specialized dual diagnosis approach and clinical programs.
What is a typical day like?
Days include a structured schedule of individual therapy, group sessions, psychiatric appointments, recreational activities, and personal time. The schedule is designed to support recovery while allowing flexibility for individual needs.
Can I have visitors?
Yes, we encourage family involvement. Visitation schedules are established based on clinical recommendations and the client’s treatment plan. Family therapy sessions are also available.
Can I bring my phone?
Personal electronics policies are established on a case-by-case basis as part of the treatment plan. We balance the therapeutic benefit of limited screen time with the importance of staying connected to your support system.
What should I bring?
Bring comfortable clothing, personal hygiene items, any current medications in original containers, insurance cards, and a government-issued ID. We’ll provide a complete packing list during the admissions process.
